Vesterålskraft’s history is the story of a group of people who, with a great deal of courage, determination, and pragmatism, established what is now the largest inter-municipal initiative in Vesterålen. The goal was to provide and transport electricity to the archipelago as a public good. The focus was on ensuring the necessary power coverage and secure transportation to the area in the most cost-effective way possible.
