Living in Northern Norway is a large-scale collaboration – a joint effort where everyone who needs new employees in the future gets to participate. Levinordnorge.no is a resource base of content that describes, for all those who do not know, what it is like to live and work in Northern Norway.
Why is this needed?
A foretold crisis is now hitting Northern Norway with full force. The assignments, the demand and the jobs are here, but who will carry them out? ? Northern Norway is crying out for labour, and we are sending our wise heads out of the country, never to see them again.
We cannibalize each other’s employees, chase around our local job market and desperately try to grab our share of the pie.
The problem is that the pie is getting smaller and smaller. Soon there are only crumbs left.
If you do an image search in Google on “Northern Norway”, you will find absolutely insanely spectacular images of seductive northern lights, sharp peaks plunging into the sea, the warm midnight sun, white sandy beaches, long expanses and deep fjords. Northern Norway is insanely beautiful!
But is Northern Norway just beautiful nature? It looks empty of people in the search results.
We who live here know that is not the case But that’s how it looks to those who haven’t been here before.
What is needed to attract the right people to northern Norway?
For some, the spectacular northern Norwegian nature is enough to take the plunge and move north, but for many it is about much more. They must be confident that there is a job for their better half, nursery places, schools and leisure facilities. They must be confident that there are opportunities to live a good life here.
We will show everyone that Northern Norway is much more than strikingly beautiful nature.
We will show them job opportunities in a very exciting business world, people’s stories and show them everything you can spice up life with when you live in Northern Norway.
We will do this through joint digital marketing of the entire country. We will create interesting content that we will share, but which all our partners can also use in their recruitment work.

We gather the resources around joint digital marketing – strategic, comprehensive and continuous. With joint resources, we ensure that engaging and descriptive content is spread in the right channels, all the time. We make sure that the story of Northern Norway as a place to live is visible and “top of mind” with those we want to reach.
You will have access to a professional content library of text, photos, and videos that you can use in your communication.
You can get tailored content for your marketing
When there are many of us together, the effect and power is greater. Much greater.
You get to contribute to a common lift for the whole of Northern Norway.
You will receive a “Lev i Nord-Norge” badge (for the website, newsletter, social media, printed materials, etc.) which shows that you are a member and it can be used in all communications as long as you are an active member.
How much does it cost to be a partner?
Live in Northern Norway is a joint venture. We achieve success by as many companies as possible participating in the collaboration – large and small. The cost of participating is based on the size of the company (number of employees). Participating in this common promise for Northern Norway should be a simple financial decision to make.
