Berlevåg is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, on the northwestern part of the Varanger Peninsula. The municipality has about 1100 inhabitants , most of whom live in the fishing port of Berlevåg and some in the fishing village of Kongsfjord. The municipality borders Tana in the south and Båtsfjord in the east, and has an area of 1153 km².
Berlevåg is an active fishing municipality with rich natural resources in the Barents Sea. The municipality has a modern fishing port with several fish processing plants and a large fishing fleet. Other industries in the municipality include trade, service, transport, tourism and public sector. Berlevåg also has a varied cultural life with a museum, a library, a cultural center, a band and a male choir.
