Leseby municipality has about 1300 inhabitants, and an area of 3 422 km². The municipality is located on both sides of Laksefjorden, and consists of several villages, such as Bekkarfjord, Veidnes, Lebesby, Kunes, Dyfjord, Nordmannset, Ifjord and Kjøllefjord.
