Skjervøy municipality is an island municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, with an area of 467.9 square kilometers and 2989 inhabitants (2021). The municipality has a rich and varied cultural life, with festivals, events and historical attractions. Some examples are Tre stammers møte (Three tribes meeting), Kystfortet på Engnes (The coastal fort on Engnes), Seppalatunet (The Seppala farm) and Skjervøy church. The municipality also has many attractive tourist destinations, such as the islands of Kågen and Uløya, which are popular for mountain tours both summer and winter. Here you can experience the midnight sun, sea fishing and whale watching.

There is also ferry connection to Arnøya and Laukøya. Skjervøy has an airport on Arnøya, with daily departures to Tromsø. The municipality also has fast boat and coastal express stops.
