Madhulika loves to dance and does so anywhere if a good song comes on: “I was standing at a bus stop and dancing, and on the other side of the road, there was a lady who suddenly started dancing with me, and it felt completely natural,” she laughs and adds, “such things only happen in Tromsø.”
With a smile, she tells about a solo trip she had to Finnmark. She met a woman who told her that all her four children had moved out, so Madhulika could use one of the bedrooms. She ended up staying there for four days. “I feel that Northern Norway is more open,” she shares.
Madhulika has experienced that dreams can become reality. She found love in an already good friendship, and she shares that they have a favorite place that is close to their hearts, the pier in Telegrafbukta: “That’s where we had our first kiss, and it was there he asked me to marry him,” she smiles happily.
