It’s now five years ago – and they still live here. The couple are owners and operators of the popular café, Brent, in Svolvær.
Australia is known to be a nation of skilled baristas, while Italy is the birthplace of modern Western coffee culture. So, it could be called logical that Liam and Laura would start a café together. The question is: Why Northern Norway?
Liam and Laura came to Northern Norway, like many others, for somewhat superficial reasons. First and foremost, they wanted to find out if the football field in Henningsvær, which they had seen pictures of, was real. And like many others, they ended up staying – not because of the football field in Henningsvær, but because of the warm people and the opportunities that exist here.
