Værøy is an island municipality in Lofoten in Nordland, which consists of Værøya, Mosken and several smaller islands. The municipality has 679 inhabitants as of the first quarter of 2022, and most of them live in the urban area of Sørland. Værøy is known for its lively fishing village, its beautiful nature and its rich history.
